All in all these beard oils are absolutely superb. Had the Explorer one before this, and I'm really happy that it wasn't a one hit wonder. Both this and Nordic Mist, are also fantastic. I've not smelt anything quite like Jul but it's fruity and warming and wintery, Mist has these earthy smells, cedarwood punching through, none of the scents are overbearing. What really sells these is the viscosity is thicker than your store bought / even posher online bought offerings, it lasts longer as you don't need as many drops. All the articles that say you can only need 3-4 drops, with this you truly only need that amount. Great stuff, the last one lasted me around 6 months at that amount. I've thrown my old beard oils out, they don't get used haha. Can't wait to see what future products are available! Proper chuffed!

I have a dense beard and taming it can be a challenge as not all beard oils work well. This oil turned out to be a complete, positive, surprise! It makes my beard soft and really easy to tame, and the scents are incredible well balanced. The black pepper + vanilla is definitely winner!
I have been using the Hinterland Beard Oils for 2 weeks and now and can say my beard has not felt so soft, even without any oil in my beard. For this price point, this is one of the most premium beard oils I have ever used! You can feel the quality from the moment the oil touches your palm and how the oil spreads and coats the beard. Hinterland Wilderness gives the fresh pine and herb scent which is extremely pleasant yet subtle enough so not to overpower if you chose to wear a matching cologne. I would highly recommend this and any of the series of beard oils for Hinterland to keep your beard feeling fresh, soft and manageable!

I ordered a bottle of Nordic Mist beard oil and I can confidently say that it is the greatest product of all time. After struggling my whole life with my weak beard growth and being mercilessly bullied for my baby smooth chin I had enough. I applied a few drops of this miracle elixir before bedtime and cried myself to sleep. In my dreams I was visited by the norse God Thor himself who said a seat will always be reserved for me in Valhalla's great hall. I awoke the next day with a full majestic beard. This sudden change did not surprise or scared me. It just felt natural, like this was how things were meant to be. I had been reborn. The crowds now part in awe as I walk through town. I purchased Explorer Beard Oil for my boyfriend for his birthday and he absolutely loves it. I've been using this for around a month now. I struggled with dry and itchy skin under my beard due to my Aesop moisturiser not reaching the skin. Other oils have always been too viscous and acted more like a skin serum. This is perfect and hits the nail on the head.
Second time purchasing from Hinterlands and loving this new scent. The oil is thicker than your average beard oil which really leaves your beard feeling conditioned and protected for longer. The packaging is also the nicest I've seen on any beard oil. Highly recommend.
Absolutely fantastic organic beard oil. The smell is exactly as I imagined (and wanted) with the pine coming through.
